Meh, I'm not really in the mood to write a lot. I just got home from seeing mah Holly off at the bus station, and I'm feeling pretty bummed out about it. But not just because of the obvious reasons, me missing her and such, but I won't be seeing her again until late November I don't think. That's almost four months of not seeing her..

Well. I can live with it I suppose, not happily but I'll survive. I'm kinda wondering if maybe I can at some point just shoot on down there sometime in between and spend a few nights at her house - maybe just a weekend thing that won't cost much money. It really just depends on how much money I can get ahold of. I'm going to e-mail someone my mom works with at NKU about getting an on campus job to start me out - I have a feeling I'd be better off starting with something there considering I have no car, or license to drive one.

Enough about that though.. I'm about to go play either Black & White 2 or a little World o' Warcraft until Holly gets home tonight. Maybe I'll draw a bit at some point.. I have her scanner now, haven't hooked it up yet. Just not been in the drawing mood lately I suppose, but I'll try and post something here soon. Until then.. Yeah. *slack*

I've felt it's about time I write something here to replace my scannerless post from.. Oh, a month ago. I still don't have any art to submit here, nor do I really have anything else to add to my page to make it look spiffy, other then the awesome icon my love made for me. So, lemme talk a little bit about my life!

ZOMG, Holly's going ot be here in just TWO MORE DAYS. WHEEEE! I can't wait to see her again, it's felt like ages since I seen her last, when really it's only been around 2 months or so - if one were to round it off to the nearest month. I'm not sure what all we're going to do other then hang around the house and go to the movies to see Talladega Nights. Though we may go to a flea market up in Ohio a few days before she leaves, my main reason for wanting to go now is so I can get her a stuffed animal. A cute one!

And maybe pick up an old game like Super Mario RPG!

In other news, I start college this fall. Actually, it's around the 21st of August that I'll be going - though I don't know which classes I'm taking yet. I go in the 1st to pick them out, and for the time being I'm only taking two since they're free. After that, who knows. I may take more the next semister, or I may not even be living here at all. Who knows? Either way, I'm excited about that and hope college isn't as horrible an experience as high school was for me. Ugh.

As for my art, Holly will be bringing her old scanner up for me to use and possibly keep. If only I could draw nicely to put it to good use, hehe. For now, I'll probably just toss up random doodles and such I managed to form up, but I really need to practice inking stuff since I seem to mess up anything good I might have sketched out in the process. I don't know.. They just don't look as good in ink as they do in pencil - weird.

Okay.. Done writting. Now to fix my computer - the video card is being funky on me, and it's a brand new card to boot. And it's really only WoW that's giving me trouble - everything else runs great. Hm. *poof*

Well, it looks like anything I've drawn is going to have to either wait until I find a scanner to use or I get off my ass and go buy one myself. Too bad I don't really have any money to spend - I need to be saving up for when I go vistit Holly next month! Maybe while I'm there I can get some stuff scanned in and posted here.

Until then.. I don't know. I need to find something I can do via computer that I can post for people to make fun of! Any suggestions?

I'm thinking... I'm seriously thinking about making another attempt at drawing and actually posting it online - on dA at that I might add. The past few days has gotten me in the mood to try again and possibly make something out of myself in the artistic department like I've been wanting to for a long time now. I've just never tried because I've not had much confidence in my self or skills when it comes to drawing stuff on paper....

But I'm going to try! I'll post a few things I've doodled up or actually took the time to finish - and by finish I mean ink and probably not color since I'm horrible at it. Seriously. If anyone wants to be picky, by all means I'll photoshop it with the paint bucket tool and that'll be all you get - at least until I can actually color halfway decent and am satisfied with it. Then again.. Who knows, maybe I'll just put it up for all to stare and comment at. Mwah..

It may be a little while before anybody gets to see anything however, I'm still breaking my hands in to the whole 'holding a pencil and making scribbles' thing that I've not done in YEARS. But mainly because I'll need to find some means of actually getting this stuff onto the internets outside of trying to snapshot it with my webcam. That's a last resort right there.

With a little luck, I'll have some junk up here within the next week or so. I hope!
